Crazy Town (sometimes abbreviated as CXT) was an American rap rock band formed in Los Angeles in by Bret "Epic" Mazur and Shifty Shellshock (Seth Brooks Binzer).
Their single "Butterfly", reached number one on the US Billboard Hot chart and helped their debut album, The Gift of Game (), sell over million units. Their follow-up album, Darkhorse (), failed to achieve the same level of success, contributing to the band's breakup in
Mazur and Binzer reformed the band in and released their third album, The Brimstone Sluggers, in In , Mazur left the band and Binzer changed its name to Crazy Town X.
In March , the band released the EP Flirting with Disaster. Binzer died in June , leaving the future of the band unclear.
