          James Hingston Tuckey (August &#; 4 October ) was an Irish-bornBritishexplorer and a captain in the Royal Navy.[1] Some sources mistakenly refer to him as James Kingston Tuckey.

          Tuckey was born at Greenhill, near Mallow, August He went to sea at an early age, and in was received into the navy.
